Sunday, February 10, 2008 1:12 PM4th day of Lunar new year holiday...Finally tommorow will be monday.Staying at home has made me restless,perhaps im just used to be busy all the time and relaxing seems to be something different for me.I didnt do much over the days,just slacking and slacking..hahaha..When next week comes i will be busy preparing for my FSC event.I hope everything turn out well,i have the roque feeling that everything will be very rushy and tiring.Nevertheless i hope the very best for this project since we have put in lots of effort. Thanks to my sister once again for changing my blog skin,all i do was to asked her to do it and in a snap its changed.hahaha.im such a computer dumbo,perhaps i will be better after learning DCS in pharmatechnology.*fingers crossed*It will be something very new for me, since i dont really noe how the computer system works.Good Luck dear Aiba. Fashion Parade. Im feeling quiet worried now since i dont have much models for this parade,since those enthu participant has gone away for Industrial Attachment.I will just have to work around with what i have now.Im yet to do a video of my sister Playing the Guzheng,im unsure if i can get it done by today since im going to the hospital soon,and trust me this visit wud drag till the end of the day.My grandpa has been admitted to TTSH due to gastric (due to overdosage of aspirin) and pathetically being anaemic,despite a doctor himself how doth can he be? hahahah..Watever is it Get well soon aites! =) Its a bright sunny day here, i just wish singapore is cooler than it is now.*Wish on*Global warming will continue to raise the temperature,so be prepare for a hotter weather. Global warming and environmental related issues bring me back to high school days,i used to be a Biology student and the environment and ecology is one of the topic in our syallabus.There was once that my teacher asked a question about deforestation and we are supposed to answered it in an essay form,I wud like to share what i have written for this particular essay that i wrote 2 years ago. Deforestation Deforestation is cutting large area of the forest,Why is that so deforestation occurs is because of a few factors which are : Urban development,Settlement,Cultivation , algriculture,grazing ,timbers and fibres which are needed from plants.Such factors has adverse effect to recriprocate for those actions taken.The effects of deforestation are : it upset the biological balance due to cutting down of many species of trees as due to that many animals living in the affected area wud have to settle down elsewhere,displacement of the settlement has caused them to be unadaptative thus they extinct.The ecology web is a chain reaction,it will effect those next in the line in the chain,thus due to that it upsets the food web.Deforestation also reduce the biological diversity as plants with medicinal purposes will be extinct long before they are even being discovered.It also reduces the selection of genes needed to have the best selection of food by hybridization.The Oxygen and carbon dioxide level will be different as there are less plants available to convert co2 to o2,this resulted in Oxygen depletion.Soil erosion us also another factor as the trees are cut down thus there is not enough canopy to protect and prevent rapid rain fall fall which wash away the soil and loosening it.Flooding occurs as a result of that as the soil is unable to retain the water.Due to the increasing amount of CO2 gas it causes the global temperature to rise as a result because CO2 is one of the green house gases which traps heat at the atmosphere thus this result of the world getting warmer and hotter.But despite all these are we doing our very best in conserving the forest? hahahaha..dats a question which should be answered by you people reading my blog! Im not an enthusiatic environmentalist,i just do what is best so as my environment can live happily,im complaining that is getting hotter too!!! hahaha..
